Wilsons Auctions Glasgow Completes Latest Renovation Project

Wilsons Auctions is delighted to complete a state-of-the-art office and reception renovation project carried out at their Glasgow branch.

The £300,000 project focused on creating a modern and bright space for staff and customers in their large office and reception area. Creating new meeting areas, individual offices, open planned offices, café, modern furniture and a comfortable breakout area.

Opening in 1998, the purpose-built site located in Ayrshire was the start of the significant expansion of the family-owned business outside of Northern Ireland, where it started from a single site in 1936. The Scottish branch marked the first Wilsons Auctions branch in Great Britain. The company now has 19 sites with national spread across the UK and Ireland.

Under the management of Gareth Wilson throughout its 26 years, Wilsons Auctions in Glasgow has grown from a company of four staff to now employing almost 23 full time and part time staff from the local Ayrshire area.

Speaking of the significant milestone, Director Gareth Wilson said, "After many months of planning, I am over the moon with how the project has come together and the final look. Since opening in Scotland 26 years ago, this is the biggest design and renovation project that has been carried out at the branch.”
