Wilsons Auctions Retains Its ISO 14001:2004 Certification
Following a recent external assessment of our Environmental Management systems by National Quality Assurance Wilsons Auctions retained its certification to the International Environmental Standard IS0 14001: 2004
The purpose of our Quality, Environment and Occupational Health & Safety management systems for which we are accredited is to ensure that product and service quality continually meets the highest standards demanded by Wilsons Auctions and its customers, in an environmentally friendly and safe manner.
The management systems in place are therefore focused on the delivery of premium services, easy communications and operational integration that offers a breadth and scope of remarketing services that can deliver great value whether on a local or national basis for our valued client base in both the public and private sectors.
The fundamental components of the system include the organisation, resources and processes. Therefore, people, infrastructure, equipment and the ongoing business culture are part of the system as well as the documented policies and practices.
Our commitment to quality, environment and health & safety is reflected in our approach to the continual improvement of our products and services in reasonable compliance with all applicable legislation, industry standards, contractual obligations, best practice and our ongoing corporate initiatives.
Certification to these systems enables Wilsons Auctions to successfully tender for larger public sector contracts with national and local government agencies, county councils and for a diverse range of public and private sector enterprises. Compliance with legislation, reputation and the perception of the market place are of course also a most important aspect of our business continuity planning processes.
